On Sunday October 26, 2008 at about 1:00 A.M. Officers from the Oxnard Administer Department responded to an Injury prang at the intersection of Harbor Blvd and Watercourse Islands Blvd. Upon arrival, officers found that the Ford Mustang had collided into a See trade signal pole, with such force, that it caused the front end of the carrier to twist upside-down. The vehicle continued another 100 feet before coming to entr'acte on the south sidewalk of Channel Islands Blvd. Officers also found a manful lying on the ground next to the Ford. The male unchanged fatal injuries as a result of the crack-up and was pronounced dead by the Oxnard Fire Be influenced personnel.
A female passenger was also found fundamentally the vehicle, and she was rushed by Gold Seaboard Ambulance to Ventura County Medical Center with serious injuries. Officers have not been able to vet her as of yet, due to her injuries.
The preliminary investigation indicates that the Ford Mustang was traveling southbound on Harbor Blvd at a very acute rate of speed. When it came upon the curve in the roadway, the driver gone by the board control of the vehicle and struck the above pole. At this time it is undetermined if spirits was a factor in the collision.
