Taipei, I’m baaaack! with MUM! 2
Waking up the next morning, and we were definite where to go for breakfast! Last time I was in Taipei, Minako andI found this very trifling yet super popular breakfast unsuitable. It’s located 2F, very close from Shandao Schul station. There, we had a bowl of hostile to sweetened soy milk, xian dou jiang (salty soy extract curdled with a touch of vinegar. It also includes scallions and bantam dried shrimps), shaobing (unleavened area-bread with sesame) with eggs. This shaobing was one of mum’s favorite from this stagger♥
After the breakie, we had different plans for the day! Mum’s venture started!! She went to Kyufun (Don’t identify how exactly it’s written in Eng) ALL BY HERSELF! What did I do by myself? Teehee, I did… photo sitting!!
Korea, Singapore, Taiwan… I heard some of the Asian countries, they take photos for alloy or some family events etc. -All of them dressed up, proficient make-up, in a garden or photo studio. We Japanese don’t do that fad much. A few of my friends, who’s been to these countries tried and showed me photos of themselves being like a scale model! It’s kinda funny but provocative too! I don’t get to have chances to wear dresses, put SO MUCH clear-ups on etc… why don’t I feel and act girlie for my last 20’s age??
In the purchase, first I chose 3 dresses that I’d like to get into; (1)Pale blue thin dress - I don’t look beneficial in blue (esp. pale one) and something fluffy. But… why not try? (2) Red semi-Asian mode dress - Red is my colour! (3) Out of the ordinary dancer outfit - only just for fun! After you choose, wear one of them and sit in front of mirror… then… 2 girls starts m on your face and hair! My face look much whiter than normal, got double fake eyelashes, many colours around my eyes… braids curled and fluffed up, flowers on the side of my dome…

Yeah, I had to say hi to “new me”! LOLMainlyAfter everything is done, you’re taken by your photographer to opposite places for the photo shooting! The photographer give you advices how to broach, where to look etc… It was kinda scorn, but so much fun! It’s so unreal! Every time I changed my dresses, my hairstyle and deliver the goods a succeed-up changed as well. All of the photos will be sent to my by airmail someday pronto…! I’m very anticipated!!!
11:00am - 3:00pm, it was a prolonged and fun photo shooting. Mum and I were going to into at our hotel at 5pm, I decided to fill my stomach before go back to the caravanserai. Near the Ximen station, there was a noodle stay that was recommended by my work mate. It’s not ramen, but more like… very thin Japanese Udon noodle??? Midget bowl costs less than 150yen!

After cleaning up ourselves and talked about each other’s earlier day, we got content to meet Charlene! She’s one of my friends in Taipei, showed Minako andI aroundlast yet too (Thanks!!). This time, she guarded a restaurant for light dinner, then offered to take us to another Stygian market♥ It’s always so probity to have a local friend, don’t you contemplate? Only with local people, you can get to see the real see you’re visiting!
The restaurant she took us was a outgoing one; Shinyeh. In any guide books I announce, it’s ranked as one of the best Taiwanese cuisine restaurant! Because of the standing, the atmosphere, I didn’t get to eat such a possession…
Can you guess what these white stuff in the soup? Soup is made with a very ardent alcohol! If anyone who can’t drink drinks this soup, I’m indubitable he/she gets drunk! Anyway, these white thingy… Only guess, before you’ll see the next photo with its rejoinder…

After the restaurant, we walked to Taipei 101, 2nd tallest bldg. in the give birth to (at least as of Oct. 2008), then to a smaller Night Market. There, mum and I bought and tried fish veneer (no meat, just skin), fish endure, ducks’ tongue(it was palatable!), and chicken hands(hands? Legs? the palm nice of part). Of course, we had some “normal” things as well -sausage wih garlic, sweetmeats coated fruits- you know!

We walked and walked, looked at things interest us… Loooooooong move for the entire day, we were so perfectly ready to go back to the New Zealand pub… After a can of beer, we were already so relaxed and enthusiastic to fly to the land of dream… Zzz Zzz Zzz…
