The Type 64 or the VW Aerocoupe, which is considered by car enthusiasts as the party’s first automobile, first burst into the scene as far back as 1938. It’s also remembered as one of the cars that were supervised by none other than Professor Ferdinand Porsche himself.
Lastly, the third variation of the Porsche Calendar carries the unique caption “Affinities – Verwandtschaften.” The chronology simply focuses on the Porsche Type 64. As a denouement, the company’s designers came up with twelve drawings that show a influence between the Type 64 and Porsche’s current note of sports cars.
